Time for my weekly accountability post, and at first, I was pretty upset by it 😭 I only completed 8 classes this week. This is the lowest number of classes completed in a week since I started all this 7/14/25...

Previously, the lowest number was 9. Here's how the week shook out:
- 2 Zumba
- 2 Low Impact Cardio & Toning
- 4 Stretch

Sigh... That said, I did spend more than 3 hours hiking on Thursday. I've also taken a lot of walks. So... I DID get movement in. Just not as much as I hoped.

I know...give myself grace...I was sick most of this week...but y'all! When I can't move, it feels bad. I get sad about it. I feel crankier and more depressed. The mental health goblins creep in...so I get that much more determined to do more the following week! And, that is what I will do this week. Funny enough though, I lost 2 lbs this week.

Anyways...I'm still sticking to my experimental schedule change this week, so here's my plan:

🎯 Sunday - Longer stretch class and a long walk for active recovery
🎯 Monday, Friday and Saturday - Zumba and Low Impact Cardio and Toning at the gym. I'll also be doing another stretch class, a short walk, and some body weight exercises throughout each of these days
🎯 Tuesday - Pilates and stretch classes at home with a walk
🎯 Wednesday - Longer stretch class and a long walk for active recovery
🎯 Thursday - Hiking. Not sure where we're going this time, but we're hiking again!

If you heard my recent episode on the More Movement Please podcast, you already know that the reason I'm changing things up is I feel like I need some more gym/home life balance and I had to admit I WAS overdoing things. I'm trying to do more workouts with the hubs, and trying to figure out how to fit in all the work in my queue as well since we're FINALLY building my personal brand into what I have wanted it to be for years. But...the movement won't stop.

Onwards and upwards, my friends! πŸš€

Yesterday, I went on a hike. It hurt. I was still sick. Coughed a lot...paid for it by having rough night with a few coughing fits, but I was DETERMINED to make it to the gym today and increase my count of classes for the week.

Somehow, I made it to The Telford YMCA and completed Zumba and Low Impact Cardio and Toning! Then, I went home and took a stretch class because after yesterday's intense hike and then today's classes, I NEEDED to stretch it all out. πŸ˜–

Going to try and get at least 3 classes in tomorrow as well to complete the week at least a little bit stronger πŸ˜…

Oh...and those views yesterday! We visited the Pinnacles and climbed to the Bluegrass Overlook. πŸ₯° Still wild to me that this time last year, there is NO WAY I would have been able to make this trek up the mountain. I am so grateful that I am in better shape these days and can take in stunning views as my reward for the hard work getting up the various trails we've been hiking.

Now, a question for anyone seeing this post... I'm looking for hiking recommendations within less than 2 hours from Richmond, KY. Where are your favorite places to hike? Leave a comment and tell me where to go for my next adventure!

Onwards and upwards, my friends! πŸš€

We're home from our Florida trip. We decided to go ahead and call it because wowza - we did a LOT of movement. πŸ˜… From hiking trails to walking around towns, Tabata rounds in the car, at rest stops, in hotels, and more...we're simply exhausted.

So...we learned a lot, we saw a lot, and we're taking a breath before we head out again. 🀩There was so much more on our list of places to visit, but thankfully, we live pretty close to a lot of the things we still want to see. 🀩

What's next? Well, regroup, get caught up on work that came in while traveling, and go from there.

The biggest takeaway from this trip was that I'm SO thankful that I made movement a priority just under a year ago. The truth is, last year at this time, all the hiking and adventuring we did wouldn't have been possible because I was so out of shape 😞 But this trip? I outpaced my husband to the point HE asked ME to slow down several times 🀣 Truly a gift, and I'm more committed to movement than ever! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Our second biggest takeaway was that we need to be in nature more. Being outside, walking and hiking and just enjoying the outdoors was EXACTLY what we needed. πŸ„πŸŒΏπŸŒΎ We're looking forward to our next getaway as soon as possible. πŸ₯°

Today, well...today was all about recovery. Fitting our first day home was an active recovery day because we needed it. So, we took a stretch class and just spent most of the day doing more stretching...in fact, I am going to stretch again right now.

I have LOTS of fun content to share from our trip including what we ate, where we hiked, fun things we saw and so much more.

Onwards and upwards, my friends! πŸš€

Can I be real with you for a sec?

The freelance and creator world is wild right now. A lot of income streams that used to feel stable... aren't. So I've been thinking really hard about building income that doesn't depend on someone else deciding they don't need my services anymore.

Sponsorships are a big part of that plan.

But landing good sponsorships takes strategy. It took me a challenge, a little humbling, and a lot of learning to figure that out.

The $10K Brand Deal Challenge (hosted by Justin Moore, who has personally earned over $5M in brand deals) gave me the framework I needed to start working on my sponsorship strategy for the More Movement Please podcast. I took it late last year and I'm literally applying it right now as I pitch sponsors for my projects.

Four days of live, practical training. $97 to join. Starts April 27.

You'll walk away knowing how to build a sponsorship package from scratch, how to pitch brands so they actually respond, and how to turn one deal into a long-term partnership.

If that sounds like something your creator business needs right now, check it out: https://famousashleygrant.com/branddealchallenge

Heads up: I'm an affiliate and will earn a commission if you sign up. I recommend it because I took it and it's genuinely great.
