Now that school has started for most students, it's time to start thinking about what for most, is the most important dance of the year, Homecoming. This year, Homecoming at Burroughs is on October 18. That is a little more than 8 weeks away, which is the perfect amount of time to begin using our acne facial products and start seeing results. The main ingredient in our French Green Clay Acne soap is (obviously) French Green clay. This clay works by pulling all of the impurities out of your pores and cleaning them out. What we tell all of our customers is that because of this, your acne may start looking worse before it will look better, but it will look better. Pair our soap with the accompanying toner and moisturizer and we'll have your face looking great in time for that big dance.

School starts here, in Ridgecrest tomorrow and soon after that, it will be time for those important events, such as yearbook photos, Senior Portraits, and Homecoming. Now is the time to start using our French Green Acne soap in order to get those faces clear and ready. We are making new batches as you're reading this in order to have them ready.
French Green Clay is known to draw impurities and excess oils from your pores. Our soap is also made with Goat's milk, which contains alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid which help REMOVE DEAD SKIN. Also contains many VITAMINS, but is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to REPAIR DAMAGED SKIN tissue, and maintain healthy skin cells from your skin’s surface. This leaves new cells on the surface of your skin that are SMOOTHER and younger looking. Using this within a good skin care routine should leave your student ( or even you) with clearer, fresher looking skin.

Since there is no random national holiday today, I thought we'd take today to highlight our wonderful collection of Vanilla fragrances. We have a variety of vanilla-based scents that cover from the fruity preferences to the floral, all of the way to the simple. Lavender Vanilla and Jasmine Vanilla have both been wonderful, classic favorites for those that like florals, whereas Green Apple and Vanilla along with Black Raspberry and Vanilla are fruity scents that smell so good, they make you hungry. Don't forget that The Body and Bath Boutique have a wide variety of handmade glycerin soaps available to order. We can make our glycerin soaps in any fragrance that we carry. Because some batches will be made when you order them, please allow us a minimum of 3 days to make your soap.
Glycerin soaps have a number of benefits to their use. Since glycerin is a humectant with a low pH level, it naturally provides more moisture to the skin as a soap ingredient and is less drying than traditional soap formulas, allowing the skin to lock in its natural moisture and preventing over-drying. Glycerin has the ability to cleanse the skin without clogging pores and promotes the skin’s absorption of other beneficial ingredients. It easily penetrates the skin and fills in fine lines and promotes skin regeneration, resulting in a more supple, youthful, and radiant complexion. Glycerin soaps and cleansers are suitable for mature, oily, and acne-prone skin types, and are especially effective on dry and sensitive skin. Unfortunately, due to the nature of these soaps, we do ask that you not leave them anywhere that they will standing in water. Doing so will ultimately leave them as a big blob of goop. :)
