**Sunday, May 31, 2026, will be the annual Ridgefield Triathlon/Duathlon. Residents should be aware that the event will likely create traffic delays in the area of Ethan Allen Highway (RT 7), specifically near the intersection of Great Pond/Haviland Rd.
Delays will likely be between the hours of 6:30am and 10:30 am. Motorists should also be aware that the event will have cyclists and runners racing throughout Ridgefield. Please be patient and observant when driving. See map below for cyclist and runners route.**
