Summer meals and food resources are available throughout Effingham County to help support local families this summer!

Free meals for school-age children will be served at the Effingham County YMCA from June 1 – July 31 (Monday–Friday only):

What started as a conversation has grown into a movement. 💙

We’re incredibly honored to be featured in this article highlighting the vision, passion, and purpose behind Healthy City 360 and the amazing women helping lead the charge toward a healthier future for Rincon and Effingham County.

This mission has never been about one event or one program. It’s about creating real, lasting change through education, access, movement, mental wellness, and community connection. Every class, every conversation, every partnership, and every volunteer effort is rooted in one goal: helping our community live healthier, stronger lives.

What an incredible day at the A Healthy City Event! We are beyond grateful for every vendor, partner, volunteer, and visitor who showed up to make this event such a powerful celebration of wellness, community, and connection.

To our vendors: thank you for sharing your services, your passion, and your hearts with our community. Your booths, conversations, resources, and energy truly made this event special.

To everyone who attended: thank you for coming out, supporting local businesses, asking questions, trying new things, and investing in your health. Seeing families, friends, and neighbors learning and engaging together is exactly why this event exists.
