🚨 THE SECRET IS OFFICIALLY OUT! 🏒🐐🦷

High Country Dental is proud to announce that we are officially the Team Dentist for the New Mexico Goatheads! 🙌🏽

We’ve been keeping this one under wraps, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of this incredible new chapter for hockey in our community!

We’ve been building up momentum at the season kick off event with Billy, pre screening dental checks for the players, and participating in open skate day—and this is just the beginning! We’re so excited for everything ahead and can’t wait to continue this journey with the Goatheads throughout the season. 🙌

From the dental chair to the hockey rink, you can count on HCD to be there tending to the players on and off the ice and helping keep those smiles game-ready. 😉🏒

As a practice that has proudly served Rio Rancho for over 10 years and the greater Albuquerque area for nearly 17, being able to support our hometown team makes this partnership extra special.

🔥 AND ITS IS OPENING NIGHT! 🔥

If you are headed to the game tonight or this weekend keep your eyes peeled for your favorite dental practice around the arena! 👀

Here’s to an incredible inaugural season, our amazing community, and keeping those hockey smiles intact!

LET’S GO, GOATHEADS! 🐐🏒❤️

🎈 A little Balloon Fiesta magic, a lot of real smiles! 💙

We were beyond excited to welcome Ingrid Maria Murra , Isidor Pollak and sweet little Oppenheimer 🐾, to our office! We loved showing how we’ve integrated Two Front into our practice, sharing our approach to patient care, and giving them a firsthand look at our team in action.

Of course, no Albuquerque visit would be complete without experiencing the infamous Balloon Fiesta! 🎈 We had such a wonderful time showing them around and of course a little piece of what makes Albuquerque so special 😁

Although these balloons might be a little too picture-perfect 😉, our excitement, relationships, and commitment to exceptional patient care are the real deal! Maybe next year you’ll really see HCD flying high in the Balloon Fiesta 🤔

✨ A little social media magic. A whole lot of real smiles.

Thank you, Dr. Ingrid, Izzy, and Oppi for visiting us and sharing in the fun! We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the people and moments that make our community so special.

Okay… we’ve kept this secret long enough. 👀

And now we’re almost ready to tell you what HCD has been up to behind the scenes. 🤫

Let’s just say… this one is pretty BIG. 😉

The secret is coming out next week.

Any final guesses? 👀

✨MEET THE TEAM MONDAY✨
Meet Candice 💛🦷
Certified Dental Assistant, military wife, mama of three… and apparently a professional dog trainer on the side. 😂🐶

When she’s not helping our doctors take care of smiles, she’s keeping up with her three kiddos, rocking her favorite color (white 🤍), and making sure even the dogs know how to follow directions. 👏

We love getting to introduce you to the personalities behind HCD — and we have to know… are your dogs this well behaved?! 😂

Obviously, we’re a little biased 😏✨ but at HCD, prevention, education, and catching problems early are alway the goal. Consider this your friendly dentist myth showdown, because we all know…

There’s a LOT of dental advice out there — but not all of it deserves the win. 👀

We’re settling a few common dental debates we commonly hear ➡️➡️➡️ Swipe to see which habits we’re throwing out and which ones we’re keeping.

🖤 Charcoal may look trendy, but fluoride is the one we’re choosing. Fluoride helps strengthen enamel and makes teeth more resistant to acid and decay. Some charcoal products can also be abrasive and they don’t offer the same proven cavity protection. •
•Team fluoride for the win 🏆🦷

🚰This one surprises patients! After brushing with fluoride toothpaste, spit out the excess, but don’t immediately rinse with water 🙅🏽‍♀️ Rinsing washes away some of the concentrated fluoride left on your teeth. Leaving that fluoride behind gives it more time to do its job 🦷✨ Brush. Spit. Skip the rinse ✅

🚫 NO pain does NOT always mean no problem. Just because you aren’t feeling anything doesn’t mean things aren’t brewing below the surface. Early cavities, gum disease, and even some infections develop without noticeable pain. By the time it starts hurting the problem may be worse. This is why routine exams matter - they help us catch what you “can’t” feel 🔍

🩸Bleeding gums aren’t a sign you need to scrub harder. It’s sign of inflammation from plaque buildup or of gum disease. Brushing aggressively can actually irritate your gums further. Gentle brushing and coming in for your professional cleanings on a regular basis help reduce this. 🙌🏽If your gums bleed regularly- tell your hygienist at your next visit!

This is one battle we REALLY want prevention to win 🥇 regular dental visits give us a chance to catch small comcerns before they become bigger, more complicated —and potentially more expensive —problems. Don’t wait for your teeth to get your attention 🦷✨
