Great tips shared!!

As the weather gets warmer and we spend more time outside, here are some tips on tick bites and prevention.

- Ticks live in grassy, brushy, or wooded areas, or even on animals.
- Treat clothing and gear.
- Prevent tick bites by wearing proper repellent, avoiding contact and checking for bites once inside.
- If a tick does bite you, remove and dipose of it properly.

Go out and support!! Something fun to watch!

Residents are welcome to watch and support the 18th annual Wounded Warriors Project Soldier Ride that is happening this Friday, June 12. They will be riding south on Des Plaines Road to 31st Street.

The event supports veterans in rebuilding strength and confidence through physical challenges and meaningful connections with fellow service members.

Please note: brief street closures will occur along the route listed in the accompanying graphic.
