So many of the items we dispose of every day are made from plastic, some of which are quite surprising-- like dish sponges! 🧽

Fortunately, there is a gourd with a sustainable secret inside: Loofah

Loofah gourds can be eaten as flowers or young fruit and the mature gourd has an interior that makes a fantastic naturally scrubby sponge.

The health care giant is investigating how the chemical, which can cause cancer with repeated exposure, got into the products.
