Good Afternoon, WeeCare For Kids will be closed on Friday, August 28, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience. The WeeCare For Kids after hours phone number is 813-417-6064. For an Urgent Care we recommend After Hours Pediatric Urgent Care. They have locations in Brandon, Tampa and Lakewood Ranch.
We will be open normal business hours again on Monday.

WeeCare for Kids has officially joined with Privia Medical Group. As with any transition there are some aches and pain that we are trying to resolve. If you have not been to the office after May 5th then your child will need some registration time to fill out the online paperwork and scan in the insurance card/identification cards. Please get to the office 10-15 minutes early to finish the registration process.

We need everyone to verify with your insurance plan that WeeCare for Kids and Dr. Heather Thole or Kassidy Boliek-Gelb is in network with their insurance plan. We have noted that the change has kicked us off some small plans unfortunately. Some plans that we are no longer in network are My Blue plans, NHP HMO Access plan, and Curative. Please check with your insurance to make sure that we still are in network with your health insurance plan.

It's time! Don't forget to call early for your child's wellness visits. Sports physicals are often due too. Any child going into Kindergarten and 7th grade are required to have a certified shot record. If your child is going into a new school, physical form and shot records are needed.

The office will be closed tomorrow afternoon (Monday, May 4) from noon to closing at 5:30pm. This is the last closing for the new Electronic Medical Record change over. It is a great positive with some new features like a patient family portal that works for all the children and new reminder calls/texts for the appointments. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The office will be closed all day Thursday, April 2, 2026 for the staff to have a training day for the new improved Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system that WeeCare is changing to at the beginning of May. Sorry for any inconvenience. We will finally have an EMR that has a portal system and lots of great new features for us all.
