Enjoy a clean, comfortable environment, with a fully-licensed and highly knowledgable staff! Asylum Studios has both male and female artist and piercers so every customer can be comfortable. We specialize in realism, portraits, old school, new school, black and gray, and color tattoos. Our piercing staff has 20 years of combined experience, and can perform anything from the average to the exotic.

We specialize in micro dermal anchors, corsets, and exhibit projects. Asylum Studios was founded by Daniel Jones and Katie Salminen in 2008 after working in the Valley for twenty years collectively. The studio was originated to give Southwest Virginia a more personal and unique tattoo and body piercing experience.
