June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month — a reminder that strength also means speaking up, checking in, and taking care of your mental health.

To every man silently carrying stress, anxiety, pressure, or pain: you do not have to handle it alone. Conversations save lives, support matters, and asking for help is a sign of courage — not weakness.

This month, let’s normalize:
• Talking about mental health
• Taking breaks when needed
• Supporting friends and family
• Seeking professional help without shame
• Choosing healing over silence

Check in on the men around you. Sometimes a simple “How are you really doing?” can make all the difference. 💙

Bright colors. Trendy packaging. Candy flavors. Social media hype.

Today’s dangerous substances are often marketed to teens in ways that make them look harmless, fun, or even “healthy.” From va**ng products to substances like 7-OH, flashy branding is designed to lower defenses and spark curiosity — especially among young people.

But behind the marketing are real risks:
⚠️ Addiction
⚠️ Mental health impacts
⚠️ Impaired brain development
⚠️ Unknown chemical contents
⚠️ Increased risk-taking and dependency

Many teens are being exposed to products that are illegal, unregulated, or far more potent than they realize. Companies and online sellers know that attractive packaging and influencer-style marketing work — and our children are the target audience.

Parents, educators, and communities must stay informed, have honest conversations, and teach young people how marketing manipulates emotions and choices.

Just because something looks modern, colorful, or popular does not mean it is safe.
Awareness is prevention. Conversation is protection.

Silence isn’t always Golden…It’s Permission!
Please start the conversations early and often! 😊

Not sure how to bring it up? Start small:
🗨️ "Have you ever seen anyone at school using a v**e?"
🗨️ "Do you know what's actually in a v**e?"
🗨️ "What would you do if someone offered you one?"

One simple question can open the door to a bigger conversation. 🔗Visit our website for resources and info: SpottheSigns.net

Feeling too attached to your phone? Try the “3-2-1” approach.

Dr. Arthur Brooks shares a simple but powerful strategy for breaking the cycle of phone addiction and building healthier digital habits:

📵 3 times each day with no digital use:
• The first hour of the morning
• The last hour before bed
• Dinnertime

🚫 2 places smartphones should never be:
• The bedroom
• The classroom

🌿 1 digital retreat each year:
Take 3–4 days away from smartphones, tablets, TV, and other screens.

Small changes can lead to greater peace, stronger relationships, improved focus, and better mental health.

Technology should serve us — not control us

Before you post, take a moment to think. What we share online can have lasting impacts on privacy, safety, and mental wellbeing, especially for youth.

Encouraging kids and families to pause before posting helps reduce online risks and supports healthier digital habits. This aligns with PCW’s mission to empower families with tools for safer technology use.
