Children grieve too, but they do not always have the words to explain what they are feeling.

Stepping Stones: Grief Relief for Children gives children ages 6–12 who have lost a loved one time to explore grief through art, music, play, and connection with others who understand.

The day camp will be held Saturday, July 18, from 10 AM–2 PM at Good Samaritan, 4751 Cove Road NW, Roanoke. A parent session will be held from 10–11 AM, and lunch will be provided.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Good Sam’s Memorial Service & Butterfly Release on June 6.

It was a beautiful morning of remembrance, reflection, and love as families, friends, staff, volunteers, and community members came together to honor those we hold close in our hearts.

Each name remembered, each butterfly released, and each quiet moment shared reminded us that grief is not something we have to carry alone. We are grateful to all who helped make this service a space for comfort, connection, and healing.
