Katie joins us as an Administrative Assistant, bringing more than 10 years of experience in administration, business operations, and marketing. With a passion for organization, problem-solving, and supporting others, Katie will play an important role in helping our team stay connected and running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Katie is a busy mom of four boys and loves cheering them on at sporting events, camping, fishing, traveling, and spending time with family.

One day, you’re their daughter or son. The next, you’re expected to become their nurse, advocate, researcher, scheduler, and expert on an aging system you’ve never had to navigate before.

That’s the reality for so many families caring for an aging parent.

We were glad to see The New York Times shine a light on the role of geriatric care managers and why having an experienced professional in your corner can make such a difference.

Aging often brings decisions that families aren’t prepared for: Is it still safe to live at home? What level of care is actually needed? Who coordinates appointments and providers? What happens after a hospitalization? Which senior living option is the right fit? And what do we do when there’s a crisis?

You shouldn’t have to figure all of that out while also trying to simply be a daughter, son, spouse or loved one.

We were proud to reflect at our team Annual Meeting on just how much has happened since we began.

Over the past five years, our team has:
💚 Served 1,310+ families
💙 Provided 31,111+ hours of care management
🧡 Completed 420+ initial consultations
💜 Conducted 540+ PRI & Screens

But behind every number is a person, a family, a difficult decision, a moment of uncertainty, or someone who simply needed a trusted guide.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re incredibly grateful for our team, our community partners, and every family who has trusted us along the way.

At our Annual Meeting, we had the opportunity to recognize Jeanne Mulley, LPN, as our longest-standing (and first hired) Care Manager at Together in Caring!

Jeanne’s years of dedication, compassion, and commitment to the individuals and families we serve have made a lasting impact on our team and our community. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed to Together in Caring over the years.
