Our Adult Respite Program spent the day in Pittsford at Mesmer Bees where we had the opportunity to learn all about the important role bees play in our world. This hands-on experience allowed us to also see how honey is made, and even gave us the chance to each take home a fresh jar of honey!

Our gala celebration at Oak Hill Country Club was a beautiful testimony of the community that stands behind our mission. We are so honored to have had the support of so many amazing people these last eight decades, and we're lucky to know that support will continue for the next 80 years. The care for our community was definitely felt today during this year's United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes Day of Caring! Volunteers spent their time freshening up our agency with beautiful flowers, new coats of paint, and trimmed trees. We are so grateful for the groups from Paychex, L3Harris Technologies, Home Comfort Heating, Wegmans, Xerox, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, and Eastman Kodak Company!

Our Adult Respite group welcomed a star-studded panel featuring Rochester Americans Assistant Coach Nathan Paestch, former professional baseball player & Holy Childhood Young Professionals Board member Greg Cullen, and 13 WHAM ABC's Mike Catalana (Sports Director) to the Tim Hortons Iceplex last week.

Participants asked their own sports and non-sports questions, and even got autographs to remember the day. This has definitely been one of our favorite experiences!
