This was present in both dix hall pike positions (head turned about halfway to the side, laying down, and head extended over a pillow)

This is a down beating nystagmus. Nystagmus is an involuntary eye movement/ reflex with a fast and slow phase. When brought on with positional testing (as described above), it usually indicates BPPV. However, some nystagmus patterns (such as downbeat) can be due to dysfunction in the central nervous system (brain). This particular person has vestibular migraine.

Multi directional walking on uneven surface, with toe taps for an extra challenge!
Great for anyone who has trouble walking outside, on carpets, rugs, grass, gravel, slopes, etc

Infrared video goggles is a common tool used by vestibular therapists, including bloom physical therapy.

We use infrared video goggles as a window into your vestibular and neurological systems. The goggles block out light, which can help to tease out small eye movements called nystagmus, and provide us with important information about your vestibular function. There are infrared cameras in the goggles, which allow us to view your eyes on screen.
