My family and I are on a staycation this week. And boy, did we need this time to relax amongst the chaos.
Part of our week has been dedicated to my son going to Madison for the Jerry Awards. He’s receiving this award for his role in the Freaky Friday Musical. So now he gets to participate in a new show performed at the Overture in Madison.
The other part of our week has been dedicated to my daughter and her bandmates as they have their first gig down near Chicago. They are playing this Saturday for a full hour, all their original music.
To say I’m proud is an understatement. Exhausted as well which is why we also wanted to fill our week away from work responsibilities with super fun activities and amazing food.
We have had so much fun, have completely spoiled ourselves, and still have several more days loaded with things to enjoy.
Aside from that, I’ve made the decision to bring on a new employee at my business. So, the day I return to work, I’ll be training my new sidekick, Sarah. I can’t wait to formally introduce you to her!
My long-time store manager, Erika, had her baby as we were transitioning into our new location. She’s so incredible that she went in while I have been vacationing and took care of things that I’ve had on a list that only she has done for me over the years. I’m so very grateful for her help.
All these things have helped me recalibrate my nervous system and I’m feeling more aligned with myself than I have in quite some time.
I hope you are enjoying your first week of June. I’ll be back to seeing clients and offering healing tools next week. Until then…shine bright!
