What a beautiful day celebrating Recovery Month at SOS Recovery Community Organization’s Annual Recovery Rally!
Gabriella Straube, Associate Director, Kerry Norton, Executive Director and Kati Plasse, Compliance Director, had such a great time being out in the community—celebrating recovery, meeting new people, reconnecting with old friends, and seeing past participants. Days like today are such a powerful reminder that recovery is possible, community matters, and hope changes lives.
And today holds an extra-special meaning for Hope on Haven Hill.
September 12 marks Kerry’s official 10-year anniversary as an employee of Hope on Haven Hill!
Of course, her journey with HHH started even earlier. As a co-founder, Kerry spent nearly two years volunteering—raising funds, building relationships, dreaming, planning, and helping create the program that would eventually open its doors to women and their children.
Ten years as an employee. Nearly twelve years of believing in a vision. And countless women, babies, children, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners who have become part of the Hope on Haven Hill story along the way.
There couldn’t be a more fitting place to mark this milestone than surrounded by the recovery community that inspired this work in the first place.
Here’s to Recovery Month, 10 years of Hope, and all that is still ahead.
