Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember. 💜
We remember every life lost to overdose. We hold close the families, children, friends, and communities who carry those losses every day. And we honor the people who are still here—fighting, healing, and finding their way in recovery.
At Hope on Haven Hill, we know that behind every statistic is a person. A mother. A daughter. A sister. A friend. Someone who is loved and whose life has value.
Overdose is preventable. Recovery is possible. And no one should have to face substance use disorder alone or without access to compassionate, evidence-based care.
Today—and every day—we remain committed to reducing stigma, increasing access to treatment, supporting families, and creating spaces where women and their children can find safety, healing, hope, and a future together.
For those we have lost, for those who love them, and for everyone still finding their way—we remember, we honor, and we keep working. 💜
