I had the pleasure of massaging these handsome boys today. Gatsby needed some shoulder work and Mojo (the old man of the two) had some shoulder and hip stuff going on. I think we worked out all the issues because they were practically drooling over the therapeutic massage work. Thank you Margo for trusting me to work on your boys!

I finally did my first Spartan race this morning. I had the privilege of having my brother with me and my mom and partners in attendance. This was an emotional challenge for me as well as mental and physical. I had just come off of a concussion and had to rest a lot in the 3 weeks or so leading up, throwing off my training. Running next to my brother and thinking about how my dad would've enjoyed this sort of event kept me going.

I was able to push through and finish every obstacle with no penalties despite tearing off a few calluses on my hands making the final set of rope and ring obstacles extra challenging.

I'm getting myself a massage tomorrow and taking this week off from my training before getting right back into it. My training and massage clients will get a tired but motivated Charley this week.
