Sometimes the first 3D session does not always work out. Baby can be in a bad position, have the cord/placenta in front of their face, or even hands and feet!

These two babies were seen by me twice. If the initial appointment doesn't go so well, I bring my patients back in for a redo, free of charge!

Don't be discouraged if your 1st or even 2nd appointment with me doesn't go so well, as long as there is time for a redo appointment, I keep trying until we can get babies face ☺️

The Newborn Photography Session is now available to book online!—> www.butterflykissesimagingstudio.com

For now, I am just going to run one type of Newborn Photography Session. If you have been an ultrasound patient during the pregnancy, you will receive 15% off this session!

The Newborn Photography Session will be for newborn babies ONLY. This is ages 0-4 weeks old (this is when baby sleeps the most, which is perfect for pictures!)

This session will include wraps, swaddles, blankets, headbands, hats, and props! If you would like to bring your own items, you are more than welcome to do so. The room temperature will be warm, and a sound machine will be running to keep baby sleepy and happy! We can take as many breaks as baby needs, for diaper changing, calming, and feeding. I will try to work quickly so we can get the photos done before baby starts to get upset. I typically will just allow 1-2 people to accompany baby to the session due to needing to keep the space as quiet and peaceful for baby as possible.

Some tips before coming in for your session:
-try to keep baby awake (no naps!) before the session as this will allow baby to hopefully sleep through the session (scheduling a late morning session is best)
-If baby will eat, try feeding them right before their session so their tummy is nice and full! (burping also, so baby doesn't get fussy from a tummy ache)
-bring anything that soothes your baby (blanket, pacifier, etc)

Make sure you book a couple weeks ahead (either before babies due date or right after baby is born) to allow my schedule to accommodate a newborn session. These sessions can take up to 3 hours depending on how well baby cooperates!

After you book your session, you will receive an email confirmation, and consent forms to fill out. These forms will be for safety and legal reasons. There are also forms that will be sent so you can custom your babies photo session to your liking. (colors, props, etc)
