Of course I question it all
Any imagining big or small
Scribblings and drawings pinned to a cave wall
From observing and learning I heed the call

A call of abandon
Of hope in this canon
A role for which I’m a stand in
On the verge of a climactic canyon

The scene rolls on tape
Only the actions I wield take shape
Doubled to allow an escape
Covered in yellow bruises and scrapes

Yellowing deepened with each filter
For who’s watching gaze is familiar
Inner resentment glowing bitter
Am I just a blip on a random transmitter?

Red tape, a canyon, a video camera
Thinkless speaking in a echoing plethora
For what life we wave a banner of
In reality is not all that glamorous

For the ones labeled inconceivable
Are now just hobbies for those undeniable

Lessons taught on what to never do
Flipping the script wearing the elites shoe
A shifting paradigm in societal truth

Once acknowledged standards
Equated to life-ruining slanders
Now we are all political bystanders

Pedophiles freely walk among us
The Epstein List grows humongous
For once they were strung up without fuss

Victims shamed and ignored
What was all the fighting for?
To just be a face behind a slamming door

Survival should not come at a high cost
Leaving many people and children stranded lost
Not left with any energy to speak up and accost

How will we help our fellow man?
With a penny or a waving of our fan
For the elites there is no helping plan

Like how you play with my hair.

Watered and fertilized
With lots of love to spare.
Locking our eyes
In a love struck stare.
Holding me close
As we share our air.

Building biomes strong
And forged to last.
Growing deeper
In transformative trance.

Spaces hidden from many tourists

Canopies forming a majestic quilt
Down below supported by silt

Branches gathered to hide the shame
Where our snakeskins look the same

Peeking through boughs of shrouding care
Letting you see I’m still there

Brambles drenched in bleak darkness
To shelter all my tender softness

A billowing underbrush
Solace for my soul to hush

Passageways running verdant and lush
My green eyes share an unwaning crush

Heart petals waxing like the moon
Blooming stronger each calling loon

Every detail howled at the loom
For in this forest you have woven room

Room to meet at our vulnerabilities
With layers of threaded complexities

Intertangling and bobbing our threads
Rooting and growing through seasonal shreds

Creating home amongst this wonder
