Jimmy Simpson Foundation/Safehaven Providing compassionate care, education, and support for individuals with brain injuries and the families who love them.

The Jimmy Simpson Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing compassionate, long-term care for individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and ventilator dependency. Founded in honor of Jimmy Simpson, our mission is to serve, support, and advocate for those affected by TBI, offering specialized care through Safehaven, community support through the Northwest Georgia TBI Support

Group, and a vision for expanded resources through Foundations for the Future.

We’re excited to welcome **Chattanooga Zoo to You** on **Monday, September 7, from 10:30–11:30 AM** for another special visit with our residents.

These interactive experiences offer opportunities for curiosity, engagement, connection, and plenty of smiles. We are so thankful to Chattanooga Zoo for bringing this unique experience directly to our Safehaven family!

We are looking for artists, crafters, makers, bakers, sewists, woodworkers, potters, and other creative friends who would be willing to donate a handmade item to help us create an amazing one-of-a-kind raffle basket.

🎨💙 Creating memories one masterpiece at a time!
We always look forward to our pottery classes with Scenic City Pottery in Chattanooga! Our amazing instructor, Kim, brings so much creativity, encouragement, and fun to every class.
One of our favorite parts is seeing our residents and staff partner together to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pottery pieces that can be treasured and shared as gifts with their families. 🏺✨
These classes are about so much more than pottery—they’re about creativity, connection, accomplishment, and making special memories together.
