Jill Shockey brings warmth, compassion, and an upbeat energy to everyone who walks through the doors of NightShade Tattoos. Since beginning her piercing journey in 2025, Jill has quickly become known not only for her professionalism and attention to detail, but also for the genuine care she gives each and every client.

Before entering the body art industry, Jill spent an impressive 17 years working in healthcare. Combined with her experience as an Air Force veteran, she brings both compassion and discipline into her work, creating an environment where clients know they’re in good hands.

In addition to piercing, Jill is also a vendor for Night Shade Tattoos and co-owns a small business with her sister called “2 Broke Vets,” where they create custom crafts and personalized gifts. Whether she’s making handmade creations, helping clients pick out the perfect jewelry, or simply brightening someone’s day with conversation and laughter, Jill’s passion for people shines through in everything she does.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, crafting, and spending quality time with friends and family — usually with a coffee nearby and at least three creative projects started at once.

To help maintain a safe, professional, and comfortable environment for our artists, clients, and staff, we are updating our shop policy!

• Children under the age of 10 are no longer permitted in the shop.

• We do not allow children to attend tattoo or piercing appointments as spectators.

• Friends and family are welcome to accompany clients when appropriate

Please arrange childcare before your appointment if needed! These policies help us minimize distractions, maintain sanitation standards, and ensure our artists can give each client their full attention.

Maggie May Salido is an award-winning tattoo artist with 8 years of experience specializing in neotraditional tattoos, coverups, and color work on dark skin. Known for her bold clean linework, vivid color palettes, and buttery smooth gradients, her tattoos are designed to stand out from across the room.

Alongside her husband Maggie runs Vanity & Venom, a competitive travel team focused on conventions, networking, and collecting trophies like emotionally unstable Pokémon trainers fueled entirely by caffeine, spite, and poor financial decisions.

She also occasionally travels with Squid Ink, tattooing on the open sea aboard Virgin Voyages while visiting places like the Bahamas, Mexico, and Greece. After moving to Wyoming at the start of the year, she’s still adapting to the cold and continues to react to winter weather like a confused lizard clinging to a heat lamp.

When she’s not tattooing, she’s usually reading, spending time with family, or gaming until 3am like someone with absolutely no responsibilities.

New to the tattoo industry but already making waves, Anthony Salido is currently in his first year of tattooing and diving headfirst into every opportunity to grow as an artist. He completed his piercing apprenticeship and later pursued his tattoo apprenticeship under Maggie May at Anbu Art Co, an award-winning studio known for producing strong, versatile artists.
After relocating to Rock Springs with his family, Anthony joined the team at Night Shade Tattoos, where he continues sharpening his skills while focusing more heavily on attending tattoo conventions with Vanity & Venom, the competitive travel team he runs alongside his wife.
Anthony’s work primarily focuses on black & grey tattooing, though he’s always eager to branch out and experiment with new styles. His favorite pieces to create are black & grey portraits and surrealism-inspired designs that allow him to combine smooth shading with bold, striking compositions.
Outside of tattooing, Anthony spends most of his free time with his daughters, working out, taking long joy rides in his GTR, and — in his words — endlessly admiring his incredibly beautiful and talented wife. Fortunately for everyone else, he still somehow finds time to tattoo in between all of that.

With almost a decade of experience, Willie is versatile in many different tattoo styles, including illustrative color work, black and grey, traditional, and even fine line work.

Outside of tattoos, he loves spending time with his two daughters, and engaging in his many different hobbies, including hot rodding, hiking and being in nature, art and literature, music and record collecting, and all things vintage.
