💭 Motivational Monday

“When did running become serious for me?”

Honestly… after my first half marathon.

I originally started running because I wanted to better understand the runners I was treating as a PT. I figured if I experienced the training myself, I’d become better at helping them stay healthy and perform better.

But somewhere between the early morning runs, race day nerves, and crossing that finish line, something changed.

Running stopped being “just cardio.”

It became a challenge.
A mindset.
A community.
A way to push myself mentally and physically in a completely different way.

That one race turned into more races, bigger goals, and eventually marathons.

Here’s the truth:
You don’t need to be a lifelong runner to start.
Most runners begin with one scary decision:
