The Family Hearing Center offers comprehensive Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) Testing & Treatment to help identify why someone may hear normally but still struggle to understand or process what they hear.

Our specialized evaluation assesses skills such as:
🎧 Understanding speech in noise
🧠 Auditory processing and pattern recognition
👂 Dichotic listening and temporal processing

Following the evaluation, we provide personalized recommendations and treatment options, which may include:
⭐ Aural rehabilitation and auditory training
🎤 FM/DM and remote microphone systems
🦻 Low-gain amplification when appropriate
🏡 Home, school, and workplace communication strategies

The Family Hearing Center offers Aural Rehabilitation (AR) to help children and adults with hearing loss strengthen listening skills, improve communication, and get the most from hearing aids, cochlear implants, or other assistive technology.

Our audiologists and speech-language pathologists work together to provide personalized care that may include:
