We begin screening on Novo's new triple agent weight loss compound next week in people without diabetes who want to lose 25% or more of their starting weight. It's an 8 month trial where the triple agent compound will be compared with Wegovy (~22%) or a placebo (~14%). We are beggining recruitment for the AMAZE 8 trial investigating a new dual agent weight loss IP from Novo. The comparator is semaglutide (Wegovy). The trial is for people with type 2 diabetes treated with diet or pills who have a BMI of >27. You can not have been treated with a GLP-1 within the last year.
