Beth Hull Daugherity spent 17 years seeking answers before being diagnosed with LAM. That diagnosis opened the door to managing lung collapses, hormone suppression, and treatment with sirolimus, the only FDA-approved therapy for LAM.

For those with rare or chronic conditions, an accurate diagnosis can be life-changing, bringing clarity, validation, and better care.

Meet Beth 🩷

At 36, she endured 9 lung collapses, 15 chest tubes, 13 pleurodeses, and 4 lung surgeries in just one year while raising two young kids. She couldn’t drive or travel and like many with LAM faced delays in diagnosis and care.

Her story highlights gaps in awareness, access to testing, and the need to recognize LAM as a multisystem disease not just pulmonary.

We can do better through earlier recognition and education across specialties.

Grateful for advocates like Beth who are pushing this work forward.
