We’re proud to see our advocacy efforts highlighted by Eyes On Eyecare! Eyes On Eyecare - Optometry

Effective July 1, 2026, Connecticut Medicaid reimbursement for four high-volume optometry services increased to match ophthalmology rates—a significant win for Connecticut optometrists and the patients we serve.

This accomplishment is a great example of what CAO advocacy can achieve when our profession comes together. Thank you to our members, legislative team, and everyone who helped make this happen! 💪👁️
