We talk a lot about what smartphones are doing to kids’ mental health—but what about their developing brains? This is worth a read, especially if you’re a parent deciding when to introduce a smartphone.

Teens have higher rates of depression, poor sleep and obesity if they had early access to a cellphone.

Nobody tells you this: the back pain, the hip pain, the exhaustion, that’s not just “pregnancy pain” you have to deal with or mask with Tylenol. It’s symptoms of a body that’s out of alignment and doesn’t know there’s another option.

One of my patients spent months assuming she just had to push through it. One adjustment in, and she said she was sleeping better and felt lighter than she had most of her pregnancy.

I’ve had two pregnancies of my own. I stayed active, completed a 4 mile hike at Hobbs State park on my due date, and adjusted patients up until the day before I gave birth, both times. I went into labor in the morning, and had my baby at home, by the evening.

This isn’t a quick fix, and I’m not the chiropractor who cracks or pops you and sends you on your way. I go in depth, full history, full picture, real answers.

If you’re ready to stop just managing pain and actually prepare your body for birth, comment “READY” and let’s connect. 🤍

The heat is brutal out there this week, and next week isn't looking any cooler. Heat like this can change how we move without us noticing; rushing through yard work before it gets unbearable, hauling window units, excessive sweat that causes mineral depletion, tensing up just walking from the car to the house. That's exactly the kind of thing that locks up a back, neck, or a shoulder.

Here's something worth knowing while you're dealing with it: research isn't just showing chiropractic adjustments are safe, it's showing people are just as satisfied with their results, if not more.

One systematic review found patient satisfaction with chiropractic care for chronic pain reached 86.4%, compared to 71% for standard medical care, and for acute pain, 90% versus 76%.

Unlike medication, an adjustment doesn't just quiet the pain signal, it addresses the bio-mechanical problem that's actually causing it. Pain medication can mute a symptom for a few hours, but if the dysfunction underneath never gets corrected, it tends to come back, often worse.

Research has even found that patients who received chiropractic care for a new episode of low back pain had a dramatically lower rate of opioid use disorder within two years compared to those treated with ibuprofen alone — 0.24% versus 1.51%.

Can we talk about pressure for a second?
Because I’ve been feeling it, and I see it in almost every person who walks through our door.

The body keeps score. Tight shoulders. Poor sleep. Racing thoughts. Feeling like you can’t catch your breath even when nothing is technically “wrong.”

That’s your nervous system stuck in survival mode.

At our office, we help your brain and body actually communicate again, so you can feel like yourself.

Are you feeling pressure lately? How does it show up for you? Drop it in the comments, I genuinely want to know. 🖤

Ready to do something about it? Book online at the link below.

📣 An Important Update from InTouch Health

After years of serving this community, we have something we want to share with you directly.

As many of you know, we are parents of two busy boys and this practice is truly our life’s work. Everything we do here is rooted in the belief that the body knows how to heal itself when the body is in balance and harmony, and interference is removed. That philosophy shapes every visit, every decision, and every person we welcome through our doors.

Our goal has always been to provide thoughtful, individualized care that addresses the whole person. Whether that includes B.E.S.T. treatment, custom adjusting techniques, cranial work, fascial release, or lifestyle and nutritional guidance, we remain committed to giving each patient the time, attention, and expertise they deserve.

Our fees have remained unchanged since June 2022. Since then, our experience, training, and the depth of care we provide have only continued to grow — and starting July 15th, our pricing will reflect that.

💚 Current practice members: through July 10th, you can lock in a 10-visit package at our current rate of $500 — a great way to save before the new pricing begins.
Full details are in our office and linked in our online booking site.

Thank you for trusting us with your health and your family's wellness. We are so grateful for each of you. 🙏

Long, exhausting labor isn’t random.
Here’s what most moms aren’t told…

It’s not just about how strong your contractions are
or how hard your body is working.

A lot of times, it comes down to how your body is moving.

If your pelvis is tight or not moving well,
your baby has a harder time getting into the right position.

That can lead to:
longer labor
more stress
and things feeling harder than they need to

Most moms are never told this.
They’re just told to wait and see how it goes.

But your body isn’t something you have to just hope works out.

It can be supported.
It can be prepared.

You don’t have to wait and hope for things to go smoothly.
Your body can be supported and prepared.

If you’re pregnant and want to feel more confident going into birth…
