Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Preform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
2. Provide repairs of production equipment.
3. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
4. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Must be able to troubleshoot to diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
6. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
7. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
8. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
9. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
10. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
11. Responsible for QMS roles for their position as assigned.
12. Preform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, ETC:
* Requires a High School Diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
* Manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience.
* Must be cable of driving a tow motor, scissors lift, and jenny boom.
* Must have good mechanical background, gear reduction, hydraulic, pneumatic systems; AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred
* Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
* Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
* Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. or more
* Climb stairs
* Work in high or low temperatures
