You’ve got a card in your wallet. Doesn’t mean you’ve got a provider who actually knows you.

That’s the gap nobody talks about. Coverage gets you in the door. It doesn’t get you same-week appointments, real time with your provider, or someone who remembers your labs from six months ago without pulling up a chart first.

At Resolute, we built something different. It’s Direct Primary Care: a model where you have direct access to your provider, real appointment times (not rushed 10-minute slots), and comprehensive primary care that actually follows your whole health story, not just your chart number.

Preventive care. Routine labs. Your medical records, your history, your questions. All handled by someone who has time for you.

Coverage is a card. Care is a relationship.

When’s the last time your provider actually had time to hear you out?

Tired of feeling rushed out of every primary care appointment before you even got your questions answered?

You’re not imagining it. The traditional system wasn’t built with time for you in mind, and that’s exactly why Resolute exists.

Here’s what following along actually gets you:
- Real answers on fatigue, hormones, and the stuff labs alone don’t explain
- A look at what comprehensive primary care should feel like
- Honest talk on preventive care, not just symptom chasing
- The truth about changing primary care providers (it’s easier than you think)
- A provider who remembers your whole story, not just your chart

This isn’t another feed full of generic health tips. It’s a front row seat to what root-cause, whole-person care in Southern Oregon actually looks like.

What’s the one health question you wish your provider actually had time to answer? Drop it below, we might make it our next post.

Heather didn’t open Resolute because it was easy. She opened it after years inside a traditional clinic system that measured providers by the minute, not the patient.

Monthly report cards on patient volume. Flags for not pushing supplements or injectables. Notes on which visits should’ve been charted differently to bring in more.

That’s not medicine.

Then came one week: three patients in a row telling her the same thing, that no one had ever actually listened before. That’s the week she started planning her exit.

Resolute is what happens when you build healthcare around time and access instead of volume.

What would it take for you to finally make the switch to a provider who has time for you?

Business owners: when’s the last time you actually took care of you?

Traditional primary care wasn’t built for people with no time to spare. Rushed visits, long waits, zero continuity.

Direct Primary Care flips that. Real access to your provider, real time for fatigue, hormones, sleep, weight, whatever’s actually going on, and one flat membership with no surprises.

More employers are offering this as a benefit for a reason. Good for you, good for your team.

What’s one health thing you’ve been putting off? Call (458) 244-8090 to talk about changing primary care providers.

I’m not for everyone as a primary care provider. I’ve made peace with that.

I’ll walk away from money before I compromise integrity. I’ll tell you no when good medicine requires it, because comprehensive primary care means I have to care about your health as much as you do, not more. I don’t belong to a medical camp, natural or conventional, because both have blind spots. I have lines I won’t cross with prescriptions, even when it costs me patients.

None of that means I won’t take excellent care of you. It means that if you’re thinking about changing primary care providers, you’ll always know exactly who is taking care of you and why.

Swipe through for the real list. Some of it might convince you to hit unfollow. Most of it is why patients stay at a Direct Primary Care practice built around actual access.

Which slide hit hardest? Tell me the number below.

Here’s a fun pharmacy fact that could save you money:

The price you’re quoted at the pharmacy isn’t always the lowest price available.

A patient recently went to pick up 30 tablets of generic Zofran (ondansetron) and was told her price would be $89.

She asked, “What if I just pay cash?”

$18.

But here’s the part most people don’t know about Direct Primary Care:

We have an in-office pharmacy and purchase many common generic medications directly for our patients.

Our price for the same medication?

Less than $10.

No coupon hunting. No complicated hoops. Just transparent pricing.

It’s one of those little DPC benefits people rarely hear about. Your membership isn’t only about having better access to your provider. There can also be significant savings hiding in medications, labs, procedures, and other everyday healthcare.

And you don’t have to be a DPC patient to use this tip:

Next time a medication seems unusually expensive, ask:

“What’s the cash price?”

You might be very surprised.

👇 Now I’m curious: What’s the most ridiculous price you’ve ever been quoted at a pharmacy? Drop it in the comments. I want to hear these.

“Isn’t NAD a peptide?” Nope, common mix-up though.

NAD is a coenzyme, not a peptide. It fuels your cells’ energy and repair processes. Peptides are a totally different category (short chains of amino acids that act as messengers in the body).

Little distinctions like this are exactly why comprehensive primary care matters. You deserve a provider with time to actually explain your health, not just hand you a term and move on.

That’s the access to care difference.

What’s a health term you’ve always wanted explained straight?

Losing muscle while on a GLP-1? If you’re not strength training, you could lose up to 40% of your muscle mass, the exact thing that keeps your metabolism, balance, and strength working for you long term. Skip it, and when you stop the medication, the weight (and then some) often comes right back.

As your primary care provider, we don’t just prescribe and send you off. Comprehensive care means protecting the progress you’re making, not just chasing the number on the scale.

New to the area or ready for a primary care provider with time for the full picture? Changing providers and transferring medical records is easier than you think.

What’s your plan for protecting your muscle while reaching your health goals?

What gets missed when your primary care provider doesn’t have time to get curious?

This is one thing I refuse to let go of at Resolute: the opportunity to ask another question.

Good primary care requires curiosity.

What did you almost forget to mention?

What doesn’t quite fit?

Are there other symptoms you aren’t telling me?

Sometimes things are obvious and sometimes the entire direction of a visit changes because we asked one more question.

That gets a lot harder when primary care providers are being asked to see more patients in fewer minutes while also keeping up with documentation, insurance requirements, and everything else happening behind the scenes.

One of the things I value most about Direct Primary Care is having more flexibility with that time.

An insurance company isn’t dictating how many minutes I get with a patient, what I am allowed to talk about, or what needs to happen during those minutes.

That gives me room to think and listen….and ask all the questions I need too.

That doesn’t mean every visit uncovers some rare diagnosis. Most won’t.

However, I never want to practice medicine in a way that stops me from asking an important question simply because the clock says we’re done.

Time with your primary care provider isn’t just a convenience. It can change the quality of your care.

That’s one thing I won’t compromise on at Resolute.

Have you ever left a doctor’s appointment and realized you never got to ask the question you actually wanted answered? I bet you had to wait for another appointment too right? We don’t roll like that in direct primary care.
