Before I was a healthcare advocate, I was a nurse working inside the healthcare system.
As an RN, I understood the clinical side of healthcare. I knew the terminology, the processes, and how the system worked. But I was seeing it from a very different perspective.
Then my family faced serious health challenges, and suddenly I found myself on the other side—as a daughter, a caregiver, and an advocate for someone I love.
It was shocking. It was stressful. And despite my nursing background, there were moments when I wished I had an expert guide helping me navigate the journey.
I'm still walking that path today with my father.
That experience is one of the reasons I founded Streamline Advocates.
I believe seniors are a special population who deserve expert guidance, compassionate support, and someone in their corner helping them navigate an increasingly complex healthcare system. Through medical coordination, care coordination, advocacy, and education, my goal is to help improve quality of life for seniors while reducing the stress and uncertainty families often carry.
As both an RN and a family caregiver, I bring two perspectives to every client relationship. I can speak the language of healthcare providers, understand complex medical situations, and help families make informed decisions. But I also understand the fear, exhaustion, and overwhelm that can come with caring for someone you love.
I understand the healthcare system because I've worked in it. I understand families because I've lived it.
And that makes this work deeply personal. ❤️
