County of Sonoma – Energy Efficiency Consultations and Incentives

The County of Sonoma Office of Energy and Sustainability is offering free consultations to property owners considering improving their home’s energy efficiency. These consultations can help property owners plan their pathway to improved home efficiency, whether this be through heat pumps, solar panels, or a combination of measures. Consultants can identify financial incentives to ease the financial burden of these improvements. Consultations are also available for businesses and public facilities, such as schools. In addition to consultations, the County offers financing through its Sonoma County Energy Independence Program (SCEIP). Property owners can finance up to 10% of their home’s value for projects including HVAC, windows, wildfire safety improvements, solar, roofing, and much more.
