Last week, an incredibly kind family donated 15+ plants to our facility. We immediately went out to get shovels, soil, and sunscreen then rolled up our sleeves and got straight to work! ☀️

The afternoon held ice cold beverages, reminiscing on all the different things grown in each of our own gardens, as well as showing each other techniques to remove the plants from their pots! Our residents worked as a team to get these pepper & tomato plants in the ground ready for water. The garden is inspected each day by our dedicated residents and staff!! 🍅🫑

An Ombudsman is someone who advocates for the rights of residents living in long-term care facilities and investigates your concerns to help find a solution. Services are Free and Confidential.
