A little aesthetic nurse humor because sometimes you just have to laugh.

In all seriousness, I have the BEST clients and thankfully, most of these conversations don’t actually happen in my treatment room. A big part of every appointment at MinnGlow is education, so my clients know what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, what to expect, and how to get the most out of their treatment.

There’s no shortage of aesthetic advice on Chat gpt, Google, TikTok, Facebook, and everywhere in between. Some of it is great. Some of it… makes my dang eye twitch.

Ask me the questions. Bring me the TikToks. Tell me what Google said. I’d much rather we talk about it than have you wondering.

An educated client is a good client and luckily, mine keep me pretty spoiled. 🖤

One whole year of MinnGlow. 🖤

September marks ONE YEAR since I opened the doors to MinnGlow Aesthetics, and I wanted this month’s special to be a little full-circle.

When MinnGlow first opened, I introduced Xeomin at $8/unit. So for our anniversary month, I’m bringing it back!

Whether you’re ready for your usual treatment, want to treat a new area, or you’ve been thinking about trying tox for the first time, September is a pretty good time to do it.

A little MinnGlow menu update 🖤

Beginning in September, you’ll notice a few small changes to the MinnGlow treatment menu.

As product + supply costs have increased, pricing on select services has been adjusted slightly. I always try to keep my pricing as reasonable as possible while still using the professional products, supplies + aftercare that I feel good about providing to you.

You’ll also notice two new additions to the Epionce chemical peel lineup — sal-e + mal-e!

And a little reminder about what’s included:

Epionce Chemical Peels:
Your post-treatment aftercare products are included with your service.

Microneedling:
Post-treatment aftercare products are also included to help support your skin during the healing process.

No surprise add-ons or needing to purchase your post-care separately. I want you leaving your appointment with what you need to properly care for your skin at home.

Two new peels are coming to MinnGlow this September 🖤

Meet sal-e + mal-e, two professional Epionce chemical peels that give me even more options when choosing a treatment based on your skin, concerns + goals.

So, what’s the difference?

sal-e is a salicylic acid peel geared toward oily, congested and blemish-prone skin. Because salicylic acid is oil-soluble, it’s especially helpful when we’re targeting clogged pores, excess oil, breakouts and uneven texture.

mal-e is a malic acid peel that provides a gentler exfoliation while helping refresh the appearance of dull, uneven or aging skin. Think smoother, brighter, refreshed-looking skin without necessarily needing an aggressive peel.

What about downtime?

Chemical peels don’t automatically mean a week of hiding at home. 🙃 With these treatments, you may experience redness, dryness, tightness, sensitivity or some flaking/peeling in the days following your appointment. How much visible peeling you experience can vary from person to person—and you do not have to visibly peel for your treatment to be effective.

As always, proper aftercare + SPF are a must while your skin recovers.

And don’t worry. Epionce Lite Refresh isn’t going anywhere. Adding sal-e + mal-e simply gives us more ways to choose the right peel for your skin instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
