What a bright, joy-filled morning of kindness! ☀️🎨

A big thank-you to the 18 volunteers who joined Sunrise for our third annual Kindness Rocks project on Make a Difference Day. With 15 projects happening across Douglas County, we’re grateful to be part of a community showing up for one another.

Our foyer planter was getting some pretty big gaps, and now it’s full of fresh color, creativity, and kind words again. Every rock is different, just like the people who pass by, and each one offers a different little reminder that meets someone where they are: YOU MATTER.

Some volunteers took a few rocks home to share, and a few decorated pumpkins may have found new homes, too! These small acts are one more way we celebrate a community where every person belongs.

Want to find a rock of your own? Visit us any time of year at 423 NE Wi******er St. in Roseburg, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You’re welcome to take a kindness rock or bring a few to share and help spread the love. 💛

🌟 What an incredible week at the ORA NW Conference! 🌟

Our Sunrise team had a fantastic time connecting, learning, and celebrating alongside others who share our passion for supporting people with disabilities!

❤️ A special congratulations to our Employment Director, Savannah Jones, who received the Works of Heart Award! This well-deserved recognition celebrates her dedication, compassion, and the incredible difference she makes in the lives of others. We are so proud of you, Savannah! 👏❤️

🏆 And the celebrations didn't stop there! Our team also brought home the Trivia Night WIN! 🎉🧠 A little friendly competition, lots of teamwork, and plenty of laughs made for an unforgettable evening!

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and celebrate the amazing people who make a difference every day. We couldn't be prouder of our Sunrise team! 💙☀️

A little kindness can make a BIG difference!

Sunrise Enterprises is proud to be part of the planning committee for Douglas County's 5th Annual Make a Difference Day on Saturday, October 24!

With 15 volunteer projects across Douglas County, there are so many ways to give back. And we'd especially love for you to join us at Sunrise!

Our Kindness Rocks project is back! We're looking for 12 more volunteers to help us paint colorful rocks with encouraging words, cheerful designs, and little messages of kindness to share with our community.

No artistic talent required (stick figures and polka dots are welcome!), just a willingness to spread a little joy.

All of our Sunrise Managers met today and got into the Halloween spirit. Teams worked together to decorate pumpkins and now we need your help to choose the FAVORITE and the UGLIEST! Please cast your vote by commenting a heart ♥ for your favorite and a crying emoji 🤣 for the ugliest. And don't worry...no feelings will be hurt as many had the goal of creating the ugliest. 😁 Votes will be calculated at the end of the week.
