🚪 Applications Now Open for the Early Career Travel Award!
Are you passionate about and looking for a meaningful way to make a difference?

We are inviting ORS members to apply for the chance to assist with ORS Open Door, happening Friday, February 19 during the ORS 2027 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA.

💰 10 travel awards of $300 available!
This award helps offset travel expenses for volunteers as they will need to arrive in San Francisco by the start of the event.

🔬 About ORS Open Door:
This outreach event introduces middle school students, especially those who are BIPOC, first-gen, and underrepresented in STEM, to exciting careers in and science.

Volunteers will help lead hands-on workshops, moderate Q&A sessions, and share what it’s like to be part of the orthocommunity.

Gianluca Vadalà, MD, PhD, Ferguson Spine Lab alum, was tapped for the 2026 ORS Guest Nation Spotlight Session at this year's Annual Meeting.
