Every year, thousands of children "fall through the cracks" because they lack the insurance or financial means to follow up on a failed vision screening. Our All Children See program was built to bridge that gap, but we can’t do it without you.

We are actively recruiting volunteer pediatric ophthalmologists to join our nationwide network. By donating just a few exams a year, you provide the sight-saving care these children need to succeed in school and in life.

Ready to change a life from your own exam room? Join our network of volunteers today: https://childrenseyefoundation.org/what-we-do/all-children-see/physicians/

We honor the incredible life and legacy of Dr. Paul Mitchell, a brilliant pediatric ophthalmologist, surgeon, and mentor who passed away on May 16, 2026.

Dr. Mitchell dedicated his career to saving children's sight. As a longtime, active member of AAPOS, his impact on pediatric eye care and strabismus treatment is immeasurable. To honor his lifelong passion, his family has beautifully requested that memorial donations be made to the Children’s Eye Foundation of AAPOS to continue the work he loved so much.

We send our deepest condolences to his wife Grace and his entire family. Dr. Mitchell’s warmth and kindness will never be forgotten.

We are so proud of our Pediatric Eye Ambassador for All Children See, Jessica Henry, who represented the Children’s Eye Foundation of AAPOS at two recent Vision Walk events.

Jessica, a medical student at Michigan State, spent the day connecting with a community that is just as passionate about pediatric eye health as we are. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful awareness can be in ensuring no child falls through the cracks.

Thank you, Jessica, for your dedication to our mission and for being a champion for "small miracles" everywhere. Learn more about how we help children access care: https://childrenseyefoundation.org/what-we-do/all-children-see/
