A new study reveals how exercise slows aging by strengthening communication between the brain, muscles and liver. The research demonstrates that regular physical activity creates a powerful anti-aging network that helps maintain cognitive function and delay neurodegenerative diseases.

The effects of even a little movement is powerful. If sedentary individuals move a small amount more, to "low activity" activity levels, it would save BILLIONS of healthcare dollars every year.

If engaging in moderate, consistent activity, each individual can save, on average, $1000-2000 per year - much more if you account for loss of work, etc...

The benefits of even small physical activity outweigh the negative effects of sitting in a chair all day. There is nothing to fight against - it's your choice, but always remember it's the better choice.

Small increases in physical activity as part of our daily lives can bring long-term benefits to our health.

Most people think of rest when they have chronic pain, but many times, chronic pain can manifest from your brain "remembering" past injuries and trauma.

Exercise can actually help! Not only can each workout help desensitize your body to pain, it also produces endorphins which act like opioids - which help decrease sensation.

Before you start heavy medications, or even contemplate joint replacement, understand that a decrease in hormones may possibly be the cause of your joint pain - and specifically hip bursitis. Precision Lifestyle Medicine, such as an individualized exercise prescription, will help ease pain in the long term. Once hormones stop fluctuating and you optimize strength, mobility, and fitness, you will see joint pain and other orthopedic issues decrease in severity.

Do you do The Dead Bug? 😳 It will
strengthen your Core, Back, Abs, and as
a bonus will work COORDINATION! We add this exercise to most of our client's workouts. It's
especially important for weak backs.

Begin by doing the exercise like the video. Once you get your lower body going, start dropping the opposite arm above your head at the same time as your leg . Go back to middle before switching sides.

Always listen to your body and avoid sharp
pain while exercising. Also, make sure you consult with your doctor before starting a new exercise - especially if you suffer from orthopedic limitations. Better to be safe!

It seems there are many people sniffling and coughing right now. 😳. If you become on of the unlucky sick ones, what is the best way to deal with exercise? This article has some good tips, but one thing to make sure… whether you are able to get your workout in safely or not, always stay overall active. Moving around the house, even with a fever, will help to keep your immune system charged and will help to keep mucus out of your lungs and other airway passages.

Research has shown that exercise may actually help a common cold, but should you always work out when you’re sick? And how much exercise is too much?
