Lately, I’ve been a little quiet …
Not from lack of activity — I've been busy behind the scenes.
Want the tea spill? ☕️
I have been building something I've wanted to create for a long time — a community space where we don't just collect and share vast amounts of information about natural health, movement, and pain-free longevity (though that is part of the plan too) ...
We EXPERIMENT.
I've created the Ageless Agility LAB on the Skool platform. This LAB is an extension of the Organic Movement studio - for those of you who are looking for an online studio and community!
I quietly opened the doors at the beginning of the month through a few private invitations to get the ball rolling. And each week since, I've hosted a short F3 LIVE MicroTraining through the lenses I use in my work:
Fitness. Fascia. Frequency.
We started week one by learning how to LISTEN to the body's signals in "Body Talk".
Then we explored how to DECODE those signals, rather than immediately trying to silence them, in "Pain Consciousness".
And then this past week, we moved into what happens next —
How do we RESPOND?
That's where "BioHabits, not Hacks" comes in.
LISTEN → DECODE → RESPOND → CREATE
Because most of us tend to wait until the body gets LOUD.
The knee hurts.
The back locks up.
We are tossing and turning at 3am, unable to sleep.
Our balance has us suddenly questioning the stairs.
We can't lift the grandkids up off the floor now that they've grown.
We feel the pain and think:
FIX IT NOW.
That's when we reach for the massage gun, red light therapy belt, back brace, knee wrap, sleeping aid, supplement, gadget — or latest biohack.
Now, I am NOT anti-hack.
Quite the opposite. I love many of the biohacks available today, and I am fascinated by the natural health technologies continuing to come to market.
I am just anti-body-neglecting.
I am against waiting until the body needs rescuing and using a biohack as our "get out of jail card".
In fact, many things we think of as biohacks can become phenomenal BioHABITS when they're thoughtfully integrated into an ongoing practice — and they can work beautifully alongside the foundational habits for building capacity.
Biohacks help you to intervene.
BioHABITS help change the terrain — the conditions that keep creating the NEED for intervention in the first place.
BioHABITS work at the foundational level.
REACTION ▶️ CREATION
Here's a little wordplay I shared in the LAB:
Take the C out of the word reaCtion ....
and move it to the front.
You get Creation.
BIOHACKS often happen when we are in REACTION mode:
"What can I do RIGHT NOW to make this go away?"
And generally, the louder the pain or problem becomes, the stronger the desire for the QUICK FIX. Right?
BIOHABITS move us toward CREATION mode:
Instead of only asking "How do I make this stop?"
— We also start asking: "What conditions am I repeatedly creating inside my body? ... and what could I begin to CREATE differently instead?"
A great question to ask yourself:
"What could I practice regularly that helps me to become stronger, more mobile, resilient, balanced, rested and recovered in the first place?"
Because biohacks ALONE can easily become a closed reaction loop:
problem/pain → intervention → result → stop → pain returns → repeat 🔁
BioHABITS have the potential to create an upward spiral:
problem/pain ⇾ intervention → result → practice → repetition → adaptation → resilience → capacity → identity ⏫️
And eventually you think:
"This is just what I do." ....
"I am the kind of person who ------"
Think about brushing your teeth.
You probably don't wake up every morning debating whether you are motivated enough to brush them or not. You just brush your teeth. It's part of who you are and how you live. It's integrated at an identity level.
THAT is where we want our health practices to go ... where our BioHABITS are ingrained in us, as part of who we ARE.
A few quick examples as context:
👟 FITNESS:
BIOHACK: Pulling out the vibration plate or EMS device when feeling off.
BIOHABIT: Regular walking, resistance training, a fun sport or movement class — that continuously builds physical capacity.
FASCIA:
BIOHACK: Grabbing a fascia release roller or ball only after our feet ache.
BIOHABIT: Regularly moving and mobilizing our feet and TOES, wearing wide toe-box shoes that give the toes room to move, and incorporating a few fascia care practices into everyday life BEFORE things begin to ache.
🪬 FREQUENCY:
BIOHACK: Reaching for a nervous system regulation tool only when stressed, wired, or unable to sleep.
BIOHABIT: Creating regular rhythms that support regulation and recovery — such as consistent sleep/wake times, morning sunlight, breathwork, meditation, and calming evening routines that help us to gently shift gears.
Again, biohacks are not the enemy.
They make for fantastic interventions.
The problem comes when we use them IN LIEU of the habits that build capacity, rather than in addition to them.
...
So here's the question I left my LAB members with:
Are you only choosing quick-fix biohacks today? ...
or are you also building long-term capacity through BioHABITS?
My hope is that you choose the latter.
Then I gave everyone in the LAB a little experiment for the week:
🧪 THE 7-DAY F3 BIOHABIT EXPERIMENT
CHOOSE ONE tiny BioHabit in each category — Fitness, Fascia, and Frequency — and practice those three things for the next 7 days.
Start small.
💭 Hold a squat or stand on just one foot while you brush your teeth.
💭 Park at a distance and take the long walk in.
💭 Spend a few minutes mobilizing your feet & toes while watching TV.
💭 Go to bed and rise at roughly the same time each day.
You get the idea.
This isn't about creating another giant wellness to-do list.
It's about experimenting with small things you can integrate until they become: "This is who I am. This is what I do."
And THAT is exactly why I created a LAB.
I don't want it to be another place where we collect information.
I want us to TEST→ OBSERVE→ EXPERIMENT → RETEST
To become better at listening to our own bodies, decoding what our body is communicating, and then responding proactively — and ultimately creating the conditions that allow us to maintain our health, mobility, and independence for decades to come.
If that sounds like your kind of rabbit hole, come join us.
The first three F3 LIVE MicroTrainings — Body Talk, Pain Consciousness, and BioHabits, Not Hacks — are already waiting for you inside. ... And more to come each week that follows.
PLUS, since we're still in the early experimental stage of setting up the LAB, the first 100 members can join for FREE. The space will eventually become a paid membership, and I love rewarding my early adopters! 😎
If you are ready to exchange short-term convenience for long-term capacity, then come grab your spot inside the AGELESS AGILITY LAB (Skool Community).
Age is a number.
Mobility is a choice.
Agility is a Decision.
