Today we reflect on the incredible resilience, strength, and perseverance that runs deep in America's Black community. We also recognize the fight for equity is far from over, especially in healthcare. Black and Brown women continue to face significant disparities in the care they receive, and that is something we take seriously at Women's Clinic of Atlanta. Every patient who walks through our doors deserves to be heard, believed, and treated with the highest level of care—no exceptions.

Happy Juneteenth. 💚💛❤️

Your s*xual health deserves care, attention, and love—and you deserve a team that supports you without judgment. 💗

Here are a few simple ways to stay on top of your s*xual health:
✨ Listen to your body, and pay attention to any changes you see or feel. Your body often knows when something is off.
✨ Practice safer s*x. Use condoms and other forms of birth control to protect both you and your partner.
✨ Get screened after a new partner. Even if you feel perfectly fine, an infection can wreak havoc without causing initial symptoms.
✨ Communicate openly with your partner about your needs, boundaries, and health.
✨ Don't ignore warning signs. If something doesn't feel right, reach out and get the care you deserve.

At WCA, we're here to help you feel confident, informed, and fully supported in your s*xual health journey.

Did you know that both ge***al herpes and oral herpes are far more common than most people realize?

Both are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV), and both can be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact. While they do have differences, what they have most in common is this: neither one defines you, and neither one should come with shame.

Understanding the facts about herpes is one of the most powerful things you can do for your s*xual health.
