Baking soda has become one of the internet’s favorite “gut hacks” for reflux, indigestion, and bloating.

And yes — for SOME people, it may temporarily neutralize stomach acid and provide short-term relief.

But here’s the part social media often skips:

👉 Temporary relief does NOT always mean root-cause healing.

Your stomach acid actually has important jobs:
• Breaking down food
