I’m going to start posting about Everyday Miracles… they are all around us and a great reminder to help us focus on even the smallest moments of love and kindness.

This is my mom. She was terrified about holding this little critter (Coconut the guinea). She literally screamed (my mom, not the guinea).

Five minutes later she was happily feeding Coco lettuce. 🥬

Ten minutes later, my mom said, “look how much she likes it when I pet her like this.” Coco now had her own personal masseuse.

I love this photo because it shares this little moment of love and joy. It doesn’t take much.

My physician self couldn’t help but marvel at the oxytocin flow (one of the love and connection hormones) that was released by such a small act.

Oxytocin deepens bonding, decreases stress hormones, reduces stress and anxiety, improved mood and happiness, and boosts physical and mental resilience.

I might have to get these two together more often.

If you have fur babies, give them some extra cuddles today. Hug your loved ones. Hug a tree.

What’s an Everyday Miracle you noticed today?

With love,

Hi, I’m Dr. Arlene Dijamco, aka The MultiDimensional MD.

If you found your way here, you’re probably someone who wants both — the science and the spirit, the medicine and the mystery. I’ve been that person my whole life. It took me a while to make peace with both being true at the same time.

I trained the conventional way (Harvard, Emory, Albert Einstein for pediatrics), then did Andrew Weil’s integrative medicine fellowship, and everything I thought I knew about healing started to crack open. The work I now do lives in all worlds.

On this page you’ll find:

🤍 felt-sense practices you can do in 60 seconds

🌿 multidimensional explainers (the heart shield, masculine/feminine balance, the I AM practice)

✨ miracles I’ve witnessed in the office and can’t fully explain

🎙 from my podcasts — The MultiDimensional MD (240+ episodes) and Edgar Cayce’s Creating Calm: Parenting with Mind, Body, and Spirit

📖 practices from my book I AM Intuitive
I serve on the board of Dr. Gladys McGarey’s Foundation for Living Medicine, where I chair the educational committee — continuing the work of the woman often called the mother of holistic medicine.

Whatever brought you here — welcome. The fact that you’re here is its own small miracle.

💖 It is so important for us to maintain our own consciousness, to be conscious of our own consciousness. This is a soul awareness, and it is something worth protecting.

🌟 When we start to loop with the chaos going on around us, we become entangled with distractions that are destructive. And in a way, we are giving up our own consciousness without even realizing it.

✨ That is what I mean when I call it a battle of consciousness. The more distracted you are, the more afraid you are, the more you are giving up your own free will.

💙 And what is at stake is your own way of connecting to your true self, which is expansive, and free.

💜 Do not give that away. Your consciousness is yours. Your awareness is yours. And reclaiming it is one of the most important things you can do for your health, your peace, and your soul.

✨ Come back to yourself. Soften. Breathe. And remember who you are.

🌟 Vision and physical strains are something I know personally. When I was in second grade, I had a fall that shifted everything on the right side of my face, and within a year, the vision in my right eye was significantly affected.

⚕️It wasn't until I was well into my medical practice that I decided to take my own healing journey seriously. I began exploring physical exercises and receiving my own osteopathic treatments to release the pressure on my right eye, ease the tension on the optic nerve, and improve communication between the eyes and the visual cortex.

👉 The result? I was able to reduce my prescription for glasses and contacts by almost half, and it has stayed that way consistently. That experience was a profound reminder of what the body is capable of when we support it intentionally.

💜 Going through the pandemic and quarantine time also shed light on how much our near vision has been impacted. Focusing up close, on screens, books, and devices, puts far more strain on the eye muscles than far vision does.

😍 Our eyes are deeply connected to the structures of our face and head, the overall tensegrity of the body, as well as our nervous system. Physical trauma, tension, and strain can affect our vision in ways we may not immediately recognize, but the body has an incredible ability to heal when given the right support.

👉 Osteopathic treatment, intentional physical exercises, and a deeper awareness of how our body systems are connected can make a real difference, not just for vision, but for our overall health and well-being.

✨Even if you think you’ve “tried everything,” pause, relax, and expand your perspective. Listen to the stillness within. There is always more to explore, and your body is always seeking balance and health.

⁉️ Do you find yourself saying "I'm sorry" more than you need to? Over-apologizing is more common than you think, and it often has deeper roots than simply being polite. Herr are six reasons why someone might over-apologize, and what we can do to shift out of old patterns.

🌟 The first reason is the desire to be liked, rooted in a fear of rejection or criticism and a need to people-please. We are social beings, and apologizing is often associated with politeness and respect. But when it's overdone, it places too much weight in another person's opinion.

💙 The second is perfectionism or fear of failure. If you feel like you're not living up to your idea of perfect, you might have a tendency to over-apologize. But you don't need to apologize for being human, or for simply existing in the world.

💔 The third is insecurity or lack of confidence, which leads to a reliance on external validation. When an apology is unwarranted, it can put the other person in the position of having to reassure you, and that reassurance is coming from the outside, not from within.

💚 The fourth is a false sense of guilt, feeling responsible for all the negative things around you. But here's the reframe: instead of feeling guilty, recognize that feeling responsible means you have the power to take steps toward change. I am worthy. I am capable. I am enough.

🙁 The fifth is using over-apologizing as a coping mechanism to avoid conflict, especially if you grew up in an environment where small things escalated into big deals. This coping mechanism helped you survive, and there is no judgment in that. But if it's old and no longer serving you, it's time to recognize it and gently move away from it.

👉 The sixth is social anxiety, feeling like there's a spotlight on you and that people are critical of your every move. This can be especially true for highly sensitive or empathic personalities who feel the energies and emotions of everyone around them. The more you understand yourself, the easier it becomes to navigate any situation.

🌟 With so much going on in the world, it can feel difficult to think clearly. I wanted to talk about this battle of consciousness, what it means, why it's hard to maintain a high frequency of consciousness, and what we can do about it.

💬 There are real distractions everywhere. It starts to become a battle of consciousness that can take a toll on our health as well as the state of humanity. So why does it feel so hard to stay clear and focused?

🌿 When teaching osteopathy, energetic body healing, and meditation, here are some common things I hear students struggle with: “it takes so much concentration,” and “letting go is hard.” Or rather, it's easy because you're doing less, but it's hard to let things be easy.

💙 There's this kind of holding on, this gripping. How can you stay focused with so much going on? It's difficult to expand our perceptual abilities when we have so many distractions.

⚡ There are many intense sensory and emotional distractions in the world, manifesting as nervous system irritations and a seemingly constant escalation of fear and anger.

💙 If we give up our consciousness to these distractions, then we actually perpetuate them. Our thoughts become entangled with them.

💖 Did you know that something as simple as humming can open up your sinus passages and airways? I wanted to share this fascinating research on the healing power of humming and what it can do for your breathing and overall health.

✨ Humming increases the release of nasal nitric oxide in the sinuses. That vibration and oscillation helps release it into the nasal passages while encouraging nose breathing, both of which help increase airflow and dilate the airways.

💚 There have been case studies and small studies showing that humming can both prevent and improve sinus infections, even chronic sinus issues. One patient with chronic rhinosinusitis woke up with a clear nose for the first time in over a month, after just one hour of humming. And the best part? It's free.

🌟 The recommended technique is a low-pitch, slow hum at about 18 hums per minute, nice and slow. If you feel dizzy, simply slow down or adjust. Start with about 5 to 10 minutes a day, two to four times a day, and adjust based on your needs.

👉 Humming can also help with allergic rhinitis, whether it's dust, spring pollen, or seasonal allergies. Any time of year, you can simply start humming and let your body do the rest.

👉 Nitric oxide is not only a bronchodilator that helps improve lung function, it is also broadly antiviral and antibacterial. So humming is truly working for you on multiple levels.

✨ Concerned about congestion, coughs, and colds? It is the perfect time to incorporate humming into your daily life.

🧲 Let’s talk about solar flares and how to stabilize your electromagnetic field.

🧬 After all, we are electromagnetic beings. We have photoreceptors in our eyes as well as our skin, brain, spinal cord and blood vessels. The light from the sun nourishes us in just the right amount. In fact, we are made out of light that’s been made really dense, and so we call that matter. Matter and energy and light are all interchangeable.

☀️ The electromagnetic fields induced by solar flares, along with other space weather events, constitute a form of low-level radiation exposure of both nonionizing and ionizing types.

📗 How do we protect ourselves from this kind of radiation? Here are some recommendations from a 2024 review article in the Global Journal of Medical Research in Pharma Drug Discovery and Toxicology and Medicine on biofield energy and the health effects of solar flares by Seema Bhattessa:

💊 Increase your intake of antioxidants, including vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, beta-carotene, N-acetylcysteine, and alpha-lipoic acid.

🥬 Make sure you have enough minerals so that all your organs are functioning properly, calcium, magnesium, copper, iron, manganese, and zinc. Get those greens with chlorophyll to help reduce oxidative stress, and cruciferous vegetables with sulforaphane, those sulfur-rich veggies that help the body clear damaged cells.

🥜 Also, getting omega-3s to protect your cell membranes and reduce inflammation in the body.

🧐 Also consider things from a vibrational perspective.

😖 When your electromagnetic field gets disturbed, some people can pick up on it as a kind of static in the field. It can feel buzzy. When it’s really intense, it can feel like you stuck your finger in an electric socket. That’s literally what it feels like, like you’re buzzing.
