The thing that saved my confidence this year wasn’t my business.
When you’re growing a business, you’re suddenly expected to become the manager, CEO, accountant, HR department, even a babysitter sometimes 😅
You spend years becoming excellent at one thing, then growth forces you into jobs you’ve never done before. Suddenly, you’re bad at everything again.
For me, that came with a lot of self doubt. A lot of second guessing. A lot of wondering whether I was even qualified to sit in the seat I created for myself.
But I realized one of the most valuable things I’ve ever built isn’t my business. It’s my skill.
Because if everything disappeared tomorrow, the salon, the employees, the systems, all of it, I’d still be able to walk into a room and make a great living with my own two hands.
Most people chase titles like CEO or entrepreneur. But titles can disappear overnight, a skill can’t.
I believe everyone should become exceptional at something.
It’s the insurance policy nobody can take away from you when life gets weird.
Comment the skill that made you feel completely at home!
