Leveling up our clinical skills! 📈✨

Our RBTs recently dove into a fantastic professional development session focused on mastering session notes. Whether it was learning new strategies or getting a much-needed refresher, everyone walked away with the tools to write clearer, more impactful notes for our clients.

A huge shoutout to our incredible Westside Clinical Director and Director of Training, Natalija, for leading such an engaging and insightful training! 🙌💙

Supporting our team's growth, one training at a time 🎓

We recently hosted a PDU training for our RBTs focused on conditioning preference assessment-an essential skill for identifying what truly motivates our clients and help drive meaningful progress.

Investing in ongoing professional development means better outcomes, stronger clinicians, and more impactful care. Proud of our team for continuing to learn, grow, and show up for the individuals they serve every day 💙.

Keeping up with our people 💫

We're excited to reconnect with three of our former apprentices who grew up with us, became BCBAs, and are now making an impact across the country! 🎉

Happy to announce that on Wednesday, 5/13 we will reconnect via Zoom as our current clinical residents get the chance to chat, ask questions, and learn from the journeys of those who came before them. It's full-circle moment that celebrates growth, mentorship, and the amazing community we've built together 💙

Learning, reflecting, and growing together 🌎

We had the privilege of hosting a CEU event for our behavior analysts and clinical residents, led by Fabiola Vargas-Londoño, Ph.D, BCBA, LBA. The training, 'Do Cultural Adaptations Matter?', explored the role of cultural responsiveness in ABA practice through a review of her published research and discussion around real-world application.

From examining how culture shapes client experiences to identifying actionable ways to adapt our interventions, the session offered valuable takeaways that challenge us to be more thoughtful, inclusive, and effective clinicians.

Grateful for opportunities like this that deepen our understanding and elevate the care we provide everyday.

Better together. Better for THEM 🤝

Our whole CAC squad- including Clinical Directors, BCBAs, & Trainers- spent the day diving deep into Program Development for Early & Intermediate Learners Using a Behavior Analytic Account of Language with Dr. Emily Kerwin and Gina Zecchin-Tirri.

From mands to interverbals, we're refining our approach to help our kids communicate more effectively with the world around them. When we grow, our kids grow! 💡💙

Theory is great, but mastery happens in the field. 🎓✨

At CAC, we don't just provide jobs; we provide a clinical home for the next generation of BCBAs. Our latest training, "The Art of Staying Behind: Mastering the Shadow Role as an RBT," led by our Clinical Director, Natalija, gave our graduate students a deep dive into the nuances of the shadow role.

Why this matters for your career:

Advanced Pedagogy: We go beyond the basics of the RBT task list.
Direct Access: Learn directly from seasoned leaders like Natalija.
Independence-First Mindset: We teach you the "why" behind the "what."

Ready to level up your clinical hours in an environment that prioritizes your growth? DM us to learn more about our graduate student programs! 🚀
