If you’ve been impacted by the recent shortage of estrogen patches, you’re not alone. ARC Obstetrics/Gynecology clinicians recommend taking the following steps:
1️⃣ Start the refill process at least two weeks before you use your last patch.
2️⃣ If your pharmacy is short, ask about an alternative brand with the same dose.
3️⃣ If not available, request a list of alternative options including the brand, dosage, and form of medication available.
4️⃣ Provide this information to your care team.

ARC Ob/Gyn is here to help you navigate what types of HRT may best treat your perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms.

Hearing loss can affect more than your ability to hear. It can make conversations harder to follow, increase listening fatigue, and make it more difficult to stay connected with the people and activities you enjoy.

“Hearing loss can affect more than just how well you hear,” says Amy R. Mullin, PhD, FAAA, CCC-A, Audiology at Austin Regional Clinic - ARC South Specialty. “It can make it harder to follow a conversation, enjoy time with family and friends, or stay engaged in everyday activities.”
