๐ฉบPFMC Attends the NCCHCA Annual Primary Care Conference๐ฉบ
We are proud to announce that representatives from Person Family Medical Center, Inc. recently attended the NCCHCA Annual Primary Care Conference held at the beautiful Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), our mission is to provide comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable healthcare services to everyone in our community regardless of their ability to pay. Attending this conference allows us to stay informed about the latest healthcare innovations, policy updates, and best practices that directly impact the patients and families we serve throughout
Roxboro, Yanceyville, and surrounding communities.
The conference brings together community health leaders from across North Carolina to collaborate, learn, and share strategies for improving access to care and advancing health equity. By participating in these important discussions, we can bring new ideas, resources, and opportunities back to our patients.
Representing PFMC at this year's conference were:
Glenn Martin, Chief Executive Officer, Jennifer Jones Daye , Outreach /Marketing Director, CHW, Brenda Hunt Moore- Outreach Coordinator, Dale McGhee -PFMC Board Member, Bailey Chambers, Care Manager, RN, Garrison Perkins, Grant/Project Manager.
One of the most exciting highlights of the conference came on the final day when our very own Outreach Coordinator, Brenda Hunt Moore, and other panelists were invited to participate on an expert panel and share their knowledge and experience in community outreach. Brenda's presentation showcased the impactful work being done right here in our community and provided valuable insights for fellow healthcare organizations across the state.
Supporting her from the audience was our Outreach & Marketing team who proudly cheered on Brenda as she represented PFMC on a statewide stage.
Every conference attended, every grant secured, every partnership formed, and every outreach strategy shared helps us strengthen our ability to serve our community. These opportunities allow us to continue breaking down barriers to healthcare while expanding access to services, improving patient outcomes, and creating healthier communities for generations to come.
We are grateful for our dedicated team members who continually seek opportunities to learn, grow, and advocate for the communities we serve.
An added bonus to the conference was we were able to pick up our AED that we won from Wilburn Medical Supply by entering their AED Giveaway Contest .
