Your body has its own cooling system! When you sweat, your body cools down as the sweat evaporates from your skin. Here are some tips to help your body stay cool and prevent heat-related illnesses.

Stay Hydrated: Drink lots of water throughout the day. Water helps your body regulate temperature and replace fluids lost through sweating.
Wear Cool Clothing: Choose lightweight, loose-fitting, and light-colored clothes to help your body stay cool. Dark colors absorb heat, making you warmer.
Take It Easy: Avoid strenuous activities during the hottest part of the day, typically between 10 AM and 4 PM. If you must exercise, do it early in the morning or later in the evening.
