🤍TIME UPDATE — MIRUSHKA WALK

Since the Detroit Zoo opens at 10:00 AM this year (later than in previous years), we will meet at 9:45 AM at the Detroit Zoo entrance.

🎟️ Everyone will purchase their own admission ticket.
Just an FYI — tickets are usually a little cheaper when purchased in advance online.

The official LUNG FORCE event in Detroit has been canceled, but our tradition—and Team MiRushKa—will continue.

This will be the third year we walk without our beloved Veronica by our side. We miss her deeply, but we carry her courage, kindness, beautiful spirit, and unwavering faith with us every step of the way.

Please join us on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 9:00 AM. We will meet and wait for everyone at the main gate of the Detroit Zoo. You will recognize us by our turquoise MiRushKa shirts.

Together, we will walk in Veronica’s memory and continue the beautiful tradition she started. The official event may no longer take place in our area, but Team MiRushKa is still here—united by love, friendship, and the memory of someone who will always remain in our hearts.

The official LUNG FORCE Walk has been transferred to a virtual format this year, but our team will still proceed with our walk to honor Veronica. We will gather by the Detroit Zoo gate at 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 28.

As always, we will be walking in memory of Veronica, proudly wearing our teal and gold butterfly MiRushka – Team Veronica T-shirts. Please note that each participant will need to purchase their own zoo ticket for entry.

Together, we will continue to honor Veronica’s legacy and support the fight against lung cancer.
