Our sensory garden has really grown this season and looks fantastic. There is so much for the clients to see and touch while there out on the patio enjoying the weather. This year we planted tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and peppers and our kitchen is using the produce in our lunches throughout the week. We would like to recognize our parents group for helping us with the garden this year, they've done such wonderful work and we can't thank them enough for the time they devoted to our garden.

We recognized staff for "perfect attendance" for the months of May and June 2026. Shown below from left to right is: Angel, Anaha, Tysha, Julia, Trudy, Becki, Ariel, Malika, Haley and JJ. We are so appreciative of their hardwork and dedication to our program and so proud to work along side of them every day. Thank you ladies!

BON HOMIE PROM 2026 - Our prom was this past weekend 6/20/26. It was such a special day. This year's theme was "Under the Sea". Client's, caregivers, family members and staff all gathered to enjoy this event. We would like to thank all of those that helped us prepare for this event: JJ who has the vision and brings all the ideas together and the caregivers and staff who csme out the night before to help decorate and then stayed after the prom to clean up We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and we look forward to hosting another successful prom next year.

To finish out our celebration of Nurses Week we put Michele and JJ to the test and quizzed them on how well they new our staff. The questions were so challenging that knowing the staff longer did not give JJ any advantage. We had a lot of fun throughout the game and learned alot about our co-workers. We feel so fortunate to have JJ and Michelle as our nurses and are thankful they're with us everyday at Bon Homie.

For the next two days we will be Celebrating our nurses during Nurses Week. (Nurses Week is from 5/6/2026 - 5/12/2026). We feel it is really important to recognize our nursing staff because our program wouldn't be the program it is today without the skills and devotion they offer our clients and our program on a daily basis. Nursing isn't a required service for us to offer, but we feel it is an important component that allows us to open our services to a much broader clientele with diverse medical needs. JJ has been with us since November 2008 and Michele, who has only been with us since March of this year (although it feels much longer) makes such a positive impact on our program. Christel who works one day a week as a private duty nurse for one of our clients had made it possible for this client to return after Covid. Please take a minute if you haven't already and let them know how much they're appreciated. Thank you JJ, Michele and Christel, we are so appreciative of your dedication and to have the opportunity to work along side of you each day.

Happy Mothers Day to all our incredible moms!, We feel fortunate to be around such strong women and witness first hand your endless love, resilience and dedication that you have for your children. We enjoyed celebrating Mothers Day with you on Friday morning with our Tea and music program by Raymond Short. We wish you a day full of love, relaxation and time spent with your families.
