Hey friends...
This is a little different than our normal posts...
Billy has been a piercing client of mine since almost the very beginning of me starting at Ink Maine. He was always smiling and in a good mood regardless of what was going on in life! If you live in the area, then I'm sure you've seen him walking with his mom, siblings, friends etc or have met him at some point in you daily journey. On one of his lasts visits to the shop a few weeks ago (when I was there) he filled me in on some of the seizure and health issues he had going on. Even then he was in good spirits! Sadly, Billy unexpectedly passed away this week. So please if you can donate to help this family out, I'm sure they would be beyond grateful and appreciative. And if you cant donate, please share the GoFundMe to help spread the word! Let's help Billy's mom and family lay him to rest.

Let's talk Nasallangs...
What are they...why they are rare...and why this may be (possibly...perhaps...) the ONLY one I ever do. 😅
Due to Social Media trends and popularity Nasallangs have been a frequently asked about piercing...until I explain what a Nasallang actually is...

Common Misconception: Almost 100% of people who have messaged me about a nasallang thinks its 2 separate nostril piercings. It is not!
Fact: The nasallang is NOT for beginners. This is an advanced piercing that takes a lot of patience and will to sit through and heal. One of the "unicorns" of piercings if you will. The nasallang is a straight barbell that goes through all 3 parts of the nose, the 2 nostrils as well as the center cartilage of the nose.

Last year Tanner came in for Mantis piercings (tip of the nose/forward facing nostril piercings). Tanner has been a first for me as a piercer a couple of times...including the Mantis piercings! We then started discussing a Nasallang. Tanner is the ONLY client who has asked for a Nasallang and 100% knew what was being asked for! It took us over a year and a lot of panic, anxiety, excitement, and more anxiety to get to today. 😊😅😭💩😂
