Today we want to give a special shout-out to Susan Hall, our Rutherford County Veteran Services Officer, and the entire Veterans Service Office in Town of Spindale, NC for so graciously allowing The Wall That Heals Rutherford County NC Committee to hold our planning meetings in their facility over the last several months.

🤝Having such a welcoming space with plenty of room and ample parking has been an incredible blessing as our committee continues preparing to bring The Wall That Heals home to Rutherford County this November.

💙Susan, thank you for your continued support of our veterans, our committee, and this mission. Partnerships like yours are what make it possible for an entire community to come together to honor, remember, and heal.

⚾️A heartfelt THANK YOU Jim Sherman and to the American Legion World Series in City of Shelby, North Carolina for affording us the opportunity to be part of this incredible weekend!

🇺🇲It is an honor to share with visitors from across the country that The Wall That Heals- Spindale NC is coming to Rutherford County this Veterans Week, November 12–15, and to share the mission of remembrance, healing, and education that this extraordinary exhibit represents.

❤️ Lisa Marie Barrett, Director & Co-Chair of The Wall That Heals Rutherford County, NC Committee, is holding down the fort today and would love for you to stop by, say hello, and learn more about what is coming to our community.

⚾️And while you’re here — come out and support the American Legion World Series and these outstanding teams! This is a wonderful weekend of baseball, patriotism, and community right here in Western North Carolina.

🇺🇸 SPECIAL SATURDAY EVENT: The US Army Golden Knights Parachute Team is scheduled to make a special appearance at 6:30 p.m. — one more reason to come experience the American Legion World Series!
